Message to Philoptochos Members

Dear Philoptochos Members:

In just a few short months, Philoptochos members from across the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America will converge upon New York City for the 33rd Biennial National Philoptochos Convention, held in conjunction with the Clergy/Laity Congress. It is our great pleasure to invite you and your chapter to be part of this historic event, one that will celebrate our past as we chart the path before us.

New York City, the "Capital of the World" and the first stop in the Americas for so many of our ancestors, will be the exciting backdrop of this extraordinary gathering. The pulse of the convention will match that of this fast-moving city, with inspiring speakers, informative workshops and ambitious forums that will challenge us to define our mission and the role that each of us can play in fulfilling those ideals that are synonymous with Philoptochos.

Many of the most important Philoptochos projects and commitments were born in conventions of the past. Won't you join us again, or perhaps for the first time, as Philoptochos members combine their generous spirit and unequaled energy in this celebration of our commitment and faith. Come to the 33rd Biennial National Philoptochos Convention as delegates, come as observers and leave as friends, bound together in the ministry that is the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society.

Very truly yours,

Mimi Skandalakis
