The Congress will begin with our Divine Liturgy on Sunday June 30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center at 9:00 a.m.   All local area churches (San Diego to Bakersfield) will be closed.   A "Welcome Fest" will be held outdoors at St. Sophia Cathedral from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. 

Divine Liturgy will also take place on each day of the Congress beginning with Matins at 7:00 a.m.  Given the missionary nature of this Congress theme,  "Offering Our Orthodox Faith to Contemporary America" substantial portions of daily Liturgies will be offered in various languages, such as Korean and Spanish.  The Services will be held in the Congress Chapel daily at 7:30am.

There will also be a special July 4th Ecumenical Doxology at Saint Sophia Cathedral near downtown Los Angeles.  The service will take place from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm.  Buses will leave the Bonaventure Hotel at 1:30 pm sharp.
