DELEGATE-ONLY MEETINGS AND OPEN SESSIONS

The Opening Session and the Ministry Webinars are open to the public. Business meetings are restricted to pre-registered delegates, observers, and members of the media only and labeled as such. To enter a delegate-only meeting, simply click on the meeting and follow the security prompts.

QUORUM

Please join meetings at least 15 minutes in advance. When you enter a meeting, the ON24 system will log your attendance automatically for quorum.

VOTING

Registered delegates must be present in real-time and using either a desktop or laptop computer to cast a vote. Tablets and phones will not work. Observers and members of the media may not cast votes at any time.

DISCUSSIONS ON MOTIONS

All discussions on motions will happen by telephone bridge only, which will act as a virtual microphone. The dial-in number will be provided in meetings. Delegates who call into the audio bridge will be greeted by an operator who will take your name and move you into a virtual microphone line. You will be called into the meeting by the moderator when it is your turn to speak in the order you called. Please remember to turn off your computer volume to prevent an echo.

PARLIAMENTARY AND OTHER PROCEDURAL POINTS OF ORDER

To second a motion or bring up any points of order, you will use the designated chat box in the meeting. The chat box will be moderated by the parliamentarian.
