Consecration of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church & National Shrine. 20 years after the 9/11 attacks, St. Nicholas will be consecrated.

Understanding Our Faith
“Understanding Our Faith” will touch on the history and structure of the Greek Orthodox Church in America, its relationship to the Ecumenical Patriarch and other Orthodox Churches, and the challenges the modern era creates for Orthodox faithful
The YAL attendees will be split into small groups to discuss current topics (that implicate our faith) handpicked by their group’s respective speaker/moderator, such as the individuals below

Ideas for maintaining wellbeing and mental health, and that of those around you, in difficult times
The East Med
A dynamic foreign affairs briefing and dialogue on the relationship between the United States and Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey and current events in the Eastern Mediterranean more generally
Navigating the world of startups as a potential entrepreneur, business owner, or investor
Summer in NYC means it is warm and often humid! That said, we have a variety of different activities, so here’s a rundown of the type of outfits we recommend packing:
Comedy Show: casual! - jeans, light jacket, sundress.
Consecration: Church attire.
Sunset boat cruise: Dressy casual.
Daytime speakers and programming: Business casual / Dressy Casual. These events will be indoors with AC, so we recommend a light jacket or sweater!
